Award-winning Southern California  portrait, travel, multimedia photographer/photojournalist and documentary filmmaker Cirina Catania is quite busy and on the move over the next few months. Catania is going on tour for Blackmagic Design to talk about the use of their cinema cameras in her documentaries. She will be in Boston, October 14, Washington, D.C. October 23rd, New York City on November 11 and  in LA November 19th with more dates coming soon. See more information here for her Boston Group talk about the “Courage in Creativity, The Magic of Conviction” tour.  One of the documentaries  she is working on that everyone seems keen on is a self-funded  work in progress called, “Kionte Storey, Athlete” about a wounded Marine Corporal who lost a leg in Afghanistan and after years of recovery is now working nights at the FBI on a desk and training all day every day to hopefully gain a space on the International Paralympics Team in Track. Phortoserve covered that story several month a go for Catania here. See more for Catania and her projects at her site  and at
