Recently he had a dream assignment shot for the Ault Park Concours. Kessler got to photograph a 1954 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing for the 2015 advertising campaign and poster. Kessler is known for his classic vehicle photography and events related to them. For the Ault Park MBZ ad, he worked with Timothy Holland, Creative Director at St. Gregory Group, the agency for Ault Park Concours.
Kessler also was invited to shoot the new Porsche 918 Spyder that appears on his Motoring in Focus blog. Porsche has had a decades-long string of successes, introducing cars that are purely hedonistic and appealing to all the senses. The Black & White 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder is a celebration of technological indulgence with the latest hybrid drive train, incorporating electric motors with a petrol V-8 for maximum drive. It is a modern LeMans prototype car for the street, directly borrowing driveline technology from the 919 LeMans racer in a much more appealing package. As toy can see by the work, Kessler has a passion for photographing vintage automobiles and the events where they can be seen and even raced.
