Visa is a longtime client of mine, but this project required me to work with a new team at the credit card company. The assignment came through Gyro agency and because it was a library shoot, there were lots of needs that had to be juggled for the client. Each scenario needed to yield a visually diverse set of images to be used in a wide range of ways by Visa.

The campaign called for both stills and video. We worked with a range of talent, some of whom I’d worked with previously and others who we discovered through extensive casting.

As we’ve done in previous shoots, the direction was to keep things authentic and loose. We were not tethered to any specific layouts for this shoot, so within each setup, I was able to capture a range of compositions and let the talent move freely within each space. Juggling a huge cast and crew, directing video alongside shooting stills, and working at several locations per day kept us on our toes!
